WHAT IS OMBRÉ POWDER BROW?

A semi permanent process which deposits tiny pixels of colour into the skin's epidermis using the micro shading technique. It also goes by the label "powder brows," which was inspired by the natural, gradient look. With this technique we can tailor to your preference to create a soft natural looking brow or a more defined brow.

This technique is suitable for most skin types and tones, it is the most popular technique for semi permanent brow styling as it fades off beautifully on the skin.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN NANO STROKES AND MICROBLADING?

With the use of a single-point needle machine, nano feathering is a gentler technique to create the appearance of delicate hair strokes. The skin will be less traumatised as a result, and the colour will last longer. Unlike microblading, which uses a blade made up of multiple needles to essentially cut your skin.

HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?

Depending on the customer, semi-permanent makeup will typically last 1-3 years on the skin. Because the ink is embedded in the higher layers of the skin, it cannot be removed by washing or rubbing. If the semi-permanent tattoo is not kept up with yearly colour refreshes, it will fade with time. To keep the shape and intended appearance, it is advised that you book in for a colour refresh appointment yearly or when the colour has faded over 50%. The longevity of your treated area is significantly influenced by your lifestyle, skin type, and post-treatment maintenance.

DOES IT HURT?

No not at all! We have asked our clients to rate the pain level on a scale of 10, 0 being painless and 10 to be highest. Most our clients tell us they experience a 0-2. With our technique, we are able to create a very comfortable experience during and after the appointment. Medical grade anaesthetic is also applied sparingly.

IS IT SAFE? 

All materials we use is single-use disposables that is properly disposed of after each usage. All our artist and technician practices strict hygiene and infection control.

WHAT IS THE HEALING PROCESS LIKE?

After the session, expect that your brows will appear bolder for the first several days. This is the leftover ink that your body failed to absorb, which has surfaced as a scab. Some people's scabbing is quite slight and resembles dandruff in appearance. Others experience scabs that break off in parts. Everyone's skin heals differently, so any scabbing between mild and severe is common.

Your skin typically needs 5 to 14 days to heal after your appointment.

WILL I NEED TOUCH UP?

Follow up appointments after initial session are done after 4-6 weeks. 

Yes! As with all cosmetic tattooing, it is a two step process. The initial session to create the desired shape and initial deposit of pigment, and a touch up appointment to perfect the look after the complete healing. It is highly recommended for you to book in for your Brows touch up appointment 4-6 weeks following the initial session to achieve the desired look.
